Some 125 meters above the rooftops of Paris, with a particularly dramatic sky and a fabulous sunset as a backdrop, chef Frédéric Anton personally introduced a specially conceived seven-course gourmet menu. It was paired with carefully selected wines and Grand Vintages champagnes from Moët & Chandon, our official partner for the event.
The epicurean art of Chef Anton, a man with a culinary Midas touch – and crowned with numerous awards – thrilled our group of special guests. Renowned for his singular approach to gastronomy and an incomparable attention to detail, the Michelin star chef has been shaking up the codes of haute cuisine for years, becoming the foremost champion of dishes that celebrate pure, intense flavor in incomparable ways.
To enhance the culinary magic tableside, ten diners had the privilege of journeying even higher – to the top of the Eiffel Tower and the 360-degree view it offers of the City of Lights.
Building on the success of this special event, Relais & Châteaux is proud to announce that our next destination reunion for our most valued guests will take place on Saturday June 18, in La Rochelle, at the three Michelin star restaurant Christopher Coutanceau.
Personally dedicated to enhancing and restoring marine biodiversity, Chef Coutanceau will offer a creative culinary menu over lunch in support of UN World Oceans Day. His celebration of the sea, of seafood – and in championing its preservation – perfectly chimes with the values of our own Association.
