“This house has belonged to my family for more than 500 years. My great-grandfather opened the first restaurant in 1912. My grandparents took over in 1945, rebuilt it and added a guest room. Despite the building’s lack of charm, guests continued to come back, drawn by the warm welcome. Then, my grandfather took a job as a porter at the Saint-Moritz Palace to earn money to invest in the house. Thirty years later, the business was left to my parents who, over the years, completed the conversion of the farmhouse into this prestigious chalet, a member of the Relais & Chateaux family since 1996. Nowadays, I am the one in charge, delighted to continue the family tradition.” Gian-Andrea Pazeller, Maître de Maison

Blancpain Heritage Trophy : Famille Pazeller, Schlosshotel Chastè, Suisse
In the span of a century, the “small pub” created by Anton Pazeller, in what was once an ancient forge, has become a splendid hotel. Passed down through his family, it has been expanded and embellished from one generation to the next — a truly great tale of heritage reminiscent of the Blancpain name.
