“I was still at school when I discovered the exciting buzz and fast pace of the kitchen environment as a pot-washer in a local pub, but my career actually started in 2010 as a commis chef at the Bath Priory Hotel. I perfected my skills in England for several years before moving to San Francisco and then Copenhagen, continually striving to learn from the chefs I worked with. I joined Whatley Manor in November 2016 to offer a new style of cuisine, a modern take on British food that was greatly inspired by my travels, like in one of my favourite dishes, the Tortellini Black, in which Italian pasta meets British pork belly. At Whatley Manor, we are also deeply committed to reducing our impact on the environment and respecting the countryside around us, encouraged by our guests and today’s responsible travellers.”
