The Valverde Hotel is located in the noblest and most charismatic avenue of Lisbon – the Avenida da Liberdade. The historical building dates back to the early 19th century and its history recalls the times of the ‘Passeio Público’ or where locals would stroll around the lush green park.
Our biggest trademark is the passion and attention with which our staff serves our guests. Our standards lay firmly on a solid hospitality base, and in parallel, we have developed our singular way of service, tuning our offer based on the guest’s motive for travel, for every one of our guests, aiming to offer memorable experiences, with the exquisite gastronomy and wines, as well as the authentic and tailor-made programs established by and with local partners.
Our performance, apart from the already available services, is to explore a new path off the beaten track, in an efficient and professional way. We appreciate and celebrate all the recognition shared from their stay with us!
As a historic country, we take pride in sharing with our guests the humble, yet rich Portuguese traditions: from the tastiest of dishes, to Fado Music – UNESCO World Heritage. We host Live Fado Shows, twice a week, and recreate the intimate atmosphere from the old courtyards and streets of Lisbon!
