The Anglo-Mediterranean-inspired park of Villa della Pergola has been entirely preserved in its original state. Built at the end of the 19th century, it extends over 5 acres and enjoys a unique view overlooking the sea. The botanical collections of wisteria (34 varieties), agapanthus (unique in Europe with more than 450 different species), and numerous citrus trees come together to form a vast and timeless floral fresco. The hotel offers a bicycle rental service that will allow you to discover the surrounding area. Thanks to their electric bicycles, you can easily climb the hills and enjoy the breathtaking views. Take a break whenever you want to admire the colors, breathe in the heavenly scents, and let yourself be lulled by the sounds of the environment; you’ll be in perfect harmony with nature. Then continue along Julia Augusta, the old Roman road. As suggestive as it is instructive, it connects Alassio to Albenga, and will lead you to the imperial-era archaeological site.
