The Wirtshaus Stolper Fährkrug Inn serves tasty regional specialties in a relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is located on the bank of the Peene River in the old ferryman's house, which has a thatched roof over 350 years old. It is one of the oldest inns in Western Pomerania. In summer, you can enjoy fresh zander caught directly from the nearby lagoon along with a glass of fresh white wine on the pleasant terrace with a view of the river. In addition, the poet Fritz Reuter himself was a regular visitor at the inn, and the "Reuter bench” named in his memory can still be found in the restaurant hall today.
