Peter Tempelhoff is a chef with over 20 years’ experience in Michelin-starred Relais & Châteaux restaurants around the world, including Eleven Madison Park in New York City (3*), Le Pré Catelan in Paris (3*) and Arzak in San Sebastián (3*). As Culinary Director of Ellerman House, he is mentor to Head Chef Kieran Whyte.
Peter brings a wealth of expertise to the kitchen. As the owner of FYN, a hugely successful urban fine-dining eatery in Cape Town, his finger is on the pulse of one of the culinary capitals of the world. In addition, he offers a global dimension thanks to his seat on Relais & Châteaux’s World Culinary Council, comprised of 19 gourmands from the Association’s 560 properties, and embodies Relais & Châteaux values such as preserving the world’s diverse cuisine and hospitality traditions.
