Formerly home to the kitchens of the Collège des Grands-Augustins in the 13th arrondissement, Relais Christine’s spa is today one of only two Parisian spas which collaborate with Guerlain. The Guerlain Spa at Relais Christine is distinguished by its authentic, charming setting. Housed in 13th-century vaults, this 1,500-square-foot/140-square-meter space, which includes a sauna and whirlpool bath, is a refined and elegant setting where professional therapists provide relaxing treatments and massages, for individuals or pairs, using products from the famous cosmetics brand, founded in 1828.

The history of Relais Christine is intertwined with that of its neighborhood. Built in 1607 on the remains of the Collège de l'Abbaye des Grands Augustins, whose Gothic vaults still remain (as the home of the spa), the house began life as the official residence of the king's physician. Transformed into individual apartments over the centuries, it once again regained its unity in 1979 to become a haven of discreet charm, still owned by the same family. A supremely rare destination, where every stone exudes the soul of the Left Bank.
