The ninth floor of Antwerp's Museum of historical culture (MAS) is home to masterpieces of a very special kind. This is where self-taught chef Viki Geunes has established his restaurant Zilte. Enjoy a moment of discovery and emotions, with a breathtaking view of the harbour and the city of Antwerp. The scents of the sea are omnipresent at Zilte, which literally means « iodic », the taste and smell of the sea in Dutch. Viki Geunes makes a point of working with local fishermen, market gardeners and craftsmen, which adds an extra soul to his creative and sensitive cuisine. He is constantly exploring the limits of culinary constructions and is now pursuing his quest for the perfect balance between heritage, innovation and transmission within the family. His wife and their daughter ensure the comfort of their guests in the warm and intimate atmosphere of the room, harmoniously decorated with natural tones, wood and velvet.
