Le Pré Catelan Restaurant

Chef Frédéric Anton

3 Michelin Stars 2024

Creative cooking

My cuisine is simple, flavourful and sophisticated. I try to discover harmonies of flavours and this is my philosophy: even if perfection is not of this world, that’s no excuse not to try to attain it.

Napoleon III style
French elegance
300,000-bottle cellar

In the heart of the Bois de Boulogne, in the magnificent setting of a pavilion dating back to Napoleon III with ceiling friezes by Caran d'Ache, Chef Frédéric Anton, MOF (Best Craftsman of France) serves a cuisine which is both subtle and generous. He reveals the best of his ingredients, teasing out flavours and aromas: poached egg with a truffled tartlet and pig’s cheek melting in its spices. The Chef creates the desserts, and breathes a touch of magic into great classic dishes such as Paris-Brest or pears Belle-Hélène.

Parc Bagatelle's rose garden and waterfalls

An luscious oasis in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne. As green as it gets! An ode to 18th-century gardening prowess. Trees, flowers, bridges, rockeries, grottoes and water mirrors collide in this romantic garden established in 1775. Stroll from rose garden to Chinese pagoda and waterfall, losing yourself along the narrow paths as the sounds of nature color the air. An unexpected slice of peace and quiet in the heart of the French capital.
