This summer pavilion, dating back to the Belle Époque, is tucked away in the heart of the Barranco district, a protected historic area next to the Pacific Ocean. Marble, exotic woods, a beautifully columned white façade, open balconies and skyhigh ceilings lit by skylights in the roofs – Lima teatinas – give it a charm all of its own. Its renovation was entrusted to sculptors from the Fine Arts Academy and to an Italian cabinetmaker with a view to preserving and showcasing its rich architectural heritage. Hotel B draws its inspiration from the Bohemian atmosphere of the surrounding district and exhibits works by contemporary Peruvian artists, adding to the hotel’s character.

Our curator will guide you on a truly timeless voyage through the different areas of the hotel as you admire the more than 300 works of art that include paintings, sculptures, photographs, and graphic compositions. You’ll learn the names of the most famous artists, such as Miguel Aguirre, Aldo Chaparro, Carlos Runcie Tanaka, José Tola, and Victor Rodriguez. If you want a lasting memory of this moment, visit the gift shop, where you’ll find reproductions of the most illustrative works.

Let the wind guide you

We invite you hop aboard a private sailboat departing from the Barranco Marina for a three-hour cruise out to sea along the Costa Verde. You’ll be captivated by our magnificent coastline and catch a view of Lima’s trendiest districts. The city’s architecture provides spectacular views above the cliffs. You can also opt for a day-long excursion on board a sailboat or catamaran to explore the Palomino Islands. While the chef prepares lunch, you’ll have time to dive into the ocean for a swim or jump into a kayak for a paddle around the islands.
