Ecolabel is an official ecological label shared between the members of the European Union. Awarded to Mas de Pierre with the “Tourist accommodation” category, the Ecolabel certifies the sustainable environmental engagement on the part of the establishment and represents a true mark of quality for our guests in search of environmentally responsible destinations.
Located in a Mediterranean park planted with hundreds-of-years-old olive trees, Le Mas de Pierre and its restaurant La Table de Pierre place a special emphasis on using organic, local and seasonal products as well as ingredients from its wonderful garden. Their organic waste is composted and serves to enrich the vegetable patch and garden of three hectares with the aim of preserving the environment.
The teams are also engaged to reduce the consumption of energy and water on a daily basis, and to reduce the production of waste or recycle it.
Le Mas de Pierre invites its guests to support this approach by offering activities which aim to make children more aware of the issue. In the bedrooms, a wooden “Eco-Cube” invites guests to adopt responsible habits throughout their stay.
Relais & Châteaux recognizes the engagement of Le Mas de Pierre, which offers a unique experience which is both wonderful and ethical in an exceptional setting.
