An invitation to travel
This edition offers ideas for an 8-day trip to Napa Valley or Spain and a 4-day stay in India. Each article was produced by writers and photographers with visions for today's traveler.
Ten tasty takeaways from Napa Valley
Napa Valley is the place for a mouthwatering journey dotted with stunning landscapes and vineyards, a story brought to us by food critic and reporter François Simon, who notably contributes to M le Magazine du Monde and Air France Magazine, with images by accomplished French photographer Yann Stofer, who shoots for Vice, Air France Magazine and M le Magazine du Monde.
Sensory memories
A trip from Barcelona to Madrid into the depths of Spain’s artisan, artistic, and culinary culture was imagined by a creative duo: Japanese poet-writer-translator Ryoko Sekiguchi (La Voix Sombre, Manger fantôme, Ce n’est pas un hasard) and French-Colombian artist and photographer Felipe Ribon, who has worked with the Bouroullec brothers and exhibited at Palais de Tokyo and Musée des Arts décoratifs in Paris.
Kerala: the smile of the Indies
Last but not least is Kerala, a port of call for wellness between Kochi and Bangalore that offers a blend of tradition and nature amid aromas of tea and spices. Photojournalist Jean-François Guggenheim for The Good Life and L’Officiel shines the spotlight on this sensory awakening through Ayurveda, yoga, naturopathy and meditation.
The second part of the guide is dedicated to every country of the world, where each property is showcased for its unique flavor. Five new destinations to tempt you this year: Bucharest, Tanzania, Sardinia, the Aeolian Islands and Grenada.
The free guide will be available in French and English at Relais & Châteaux properties starting January 2018.
