Château Neercanne is situated on the outskirts of Maastricht, the oldest city in the Netherlands, in the beautiful Jeker Valley. It is the only terraced castle in the Benelux. The castle was built of marl lime stone in 1698 by the military governor Baron Daniel de Dopff. One of the guests he welcomed was Tsar Peter the Great.
When you drive down the lane to Château Neercanne, the castle really captures your eye, it has a mystical feel. When entering the estate, our guests are welcomed by real and authentic hosts.
We want to make guests a part of the experience and surprise them in the beautiful and mystical setting of Château Neercanne and its surroundings. Together with the rich cultural and culinary tradition, it will be a visit to remember.
We live and work in the most European region, with great regional products at our disposal. We are pleased to make our guests discover and taste all that is produced on our own estate or in the direct surroundings of Neercanne, like the vineyard ‘Apostelhoeve’.
