Our hotel is situated in a beautiful ancient town called Regensberg which was built by Freiherr Lüthold V. in 1244. The building has been used as a tavern before the first of two severe fires in 1540. Willi Günthart from Regensberg acquired the castle from the owner family Zwinggi in 1955 and reconstructed the building. The castle was not in use as a tavern for some years but reopened its doors in 2015. The breathtaking nine rooms and the view over beautiful landscapes from the restaurant which were designed by the owner family and architect Schäfer, make every visit unique.
We wish to make people feel as comfortable as if they were spending time at home and this is possible because it is run by a family.
