Barbados... it's a name that elicits dreams. I am on a small island in the Southern Caribbean and at the sight of this turquoise water, into which I dream of immersing myself, the magic instantly hits me...

Upon arriving at the airport, there is not doubt; this island is near the equator and the climate is tropical. The thermometer reads 'only' 28 degrees, but the humidity makes it feel like it is 35, or even 40 degrees.

A short half-hour drive separates the airport from Cobblers Cove, a small, intimate, and pristine hotel along the west coast of Barbados.
This beautiful pink building is none other than the original house of this historic planation dating from 1943.
Elegant decor, bright colours, palm trees, everything is here.
The next morning at breakfast, I realise that I am going to spend the next four days in this little corner of paradise.
The pace of life is very calm here.
I take advantage of each moment by trying to immerse myself in this setting that is so unique.
The day ends peacefully following the rhythm of a singer, whose voice wanders amidst the estate's palm trees.
