The Hotel Albergo is a gem of traditional Lebanese architecture. Situated in a quiet enclave, its fine Ottoman portico and ocher-colored exterior reflect the style and vibrancy of the Lebanese capital. Each room has a unique personality and style and is finished to the last detail.
While guests from around the world enjoy Albergo’s artistic ambience, the hotel also uses its facilities to support the arts. Four of Beirut’s museums lie a short distance away, including the National Museum. Albergo frequently sponsors the launch of exhibitions and press events, which it hosts at no charge. The hotel’s efforts have helped promote a renewal of Lebanese modern art as well as numerous photo retrospectives, which present —and help people master—the memories of wartime in Beirut. Albergo also sponsors and hosts events for the US-Lebanese foundation, APEAL (The Association for the Promotion & Exhibition of Arts in Lebanon), in its efforts to promote Lebanese art abroad and sponsor students who want to continue their studies in the US.
