Our commitments
All of The Uza Terrace Beach Club Villas’ cuisine dishes are based on homegrown ingredients and local products.
Many of the ingredients used at The Uza Terrace Beach Club Villas are harvested from Our Farm, a delightful on-site oasis where local fruits like bananas and papayas along with wheat, vegetables and a variety of herbs are being cultivated. Freshly harvested fruits and vegetables are pressed to juices or used to craft handmade smoothies, whereas harvested herbs are used for cooking and spa treatments. Wheat from Our Farm is used in flour blend for baking bread and craft beer for The Uza Terrace as well as for its affiliated brewery.
From cultivating fruit, vegetables, rice and cereals, to rearing rare-breed cattle or keeping bees, the gardens and farms of Relais & Châteaux properties produce an astonishing array of organic products that are as delicious as they are healthy and beneficial for the planet.
There are some places in the world where people live demonstrably longer than anywhere else. Scientists have been investigating why this is the case, trying to determine the role of genetic, biomedical, nutritional and lifestyle factors to understand how we can maintain better health into old age.
Pamper yourself with a memorable cruise on our beautiful catamaran. Our staff will help you choose and plan your dream destination down to the last detail. In a truly heavenly setting, you can enjoy water activities such as snorkeling and standup paddling.
Our hotel staff will take you on a tour to explore the ruins of Zakimi Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Behold its beautiful curved stone walls and arched gates while enjoying the atmosphere of times long past. Situated atop a hill this castle ruins also offer an incredible view of the sea. On a clear day you can even see the Kerama Islands.
Participate in outdoor horse riding courses and explore the nature of Okinawa on horseback. Ride into the sea and enjoy a cool swim alongside your horse in summer or experience a ride through the cityscape of the ancient Kingdom of Ryukyu at a nearby theme park.
