18th-century episcopal palazzo

wine estate
family-run
Mediterranean flavours
grounds with 100-year-old trees

In the hinterlands of Verona, above Lake Garda, a private drive lined with cypress trees leads to Villa Cordevigo. This 17th-century country mansion and chapel sit in a dreamlike setting amid the majestic trees of the park, vineyards and a characterful Italian garden. Charm, art and history, the splendid legacies of the noble families who have lived here over the centuries, await guests. Today, the Delibori and Cristoforetti families preserve the property's beauty and natural tranquillity while also producing fine wines on the surrounding estate. As for the cuisine, chef Marco Marras' creativity and Mediterranean energy has garnered a Michelin star for Oseleta, the restaurant located in a picturesque building at the entrance of the grounds.

Lake Garda, northern Italy’s Mediterranean Lake

Take a private boat ride from either Bardolino (transfer 15 minutes) or Sirmione (transfer 35 minutes), enjoying a walk round the gorgeous lakeside villages before your tour on the lake. If you choose to embark in Bardolino,at the end of the boat ride, get off at Torri del Benaco and savour an aperitif or lunch at the picturesque lakeside village (transfer to Villa Cordevigo about 20 minutes). Sunsets here are spectacular. We can also assist with rental of a classic sail boat and a Riva, with aperitif on board at sunset.

Borghetto, one of Italy’s 100 most beautiful walled medieval villages

What could be more fascinating than visiting a charming, ancient village where time seems to stand still … old water mills, flowers, lots of fish in the river and small water falls. The small village of Borghetto on the banks of the river Mincio, close to Peschiera del Garda (30 minute drive from Villa Cordevigo), is a perfect stop when on a biking tour or just for a quick visit when driving through. The area of Borghetto and Valeggio sul Mincio is renowned for its tortellini.

Verona, city of eternal love and Romeo and Juliet

When coming to the area of Lake Garda the stunningly beautiful city of Verona is a must. See the main sights in 2 to 3 hours with a private guide who speaks your language either on foot or jump on a bus tour to see the city. Verona is full of things to admire and do but do not forget to leave a couple of hours for  the fabulous shopping. And something special from the end of June till the end of August: the open air Opera and concert season in the magical setting of Verona’s Ancient Roman Arena.
