The wine cellars were one of our top priorities when we carried out the renovation work at Il Borro. We wanted this incredibly fertile land to produce excellent wine once again and to share its flavours. So, we rekindled the soul of our estate and our old wine cellars, which were extended to cope with the new production. Next we come to the Vino&Arte gallery where the history of wine through the ages is told in the works of the great masters (Goya, Mantegna, Piranesi, Manet and many others) and modern artists (such as Warhol or Picasso), which are included in my father's - Ferruccio Ferragamo - private collection of engravings. The visit to the cellars finishes with a wine tasting session.
I have always been passionate about horses and that's why I organise horse riding tours. This diverse and surprising estate is a delight to explore on horseback. All outings inevitably lead to Poggio Piano where a sophisticated picnic prepared by the Osteria Il Borro can be enjoyed in the unspoilt peaceful countryside. We want our guests to enjoy the good life in the stunning surroundings of unforgettable Tuscany.
