Between the ancient olive trees, in a setting of infinite beauty, lie traces of our history: at the very top, cave Delle Noglie, where traces of primitive colonies have been discovered; along the bay, remains of Roman origin; on the ridge, a 16th-century observation tower built to spot the Saracen ships; at the bottom, an industrial archaeological site open to the public thanks to FAI volunteers (Italian foundation for the environment).
