Fly Fishing

Magee Homestead is home to some of the best fly fishing on the planet. We are proudly Orvis-endorsed and provide the ultimate experience for enthusiasts from countries across the map. Our 30,000 acre ranch is traversed by over twenty miles of the crystalline waters of Brush Creek, French Creek, Encampment River, and the renowned North Platte River – all of which are accessible by wading and drift boat. Flowing effortlessly through broad canyons and sloping valleys, the North Platte is an iconic fishing destination, with miles of blue ribbon water full of hearty brown and rainbow trout.

Horseback

Our horseback program blends the authentic heritage of traditional Western riding on our herd of genuine quarter horses. From our stately 28,000 square foot indoor riding arena and stables to our 50-plus miles of private trails and endless open range, Magee Homestead provides classic riding for riders of all ages and skill levels.
