James Turrell’s Irish Sky Garden, a life-sized work of art

Within the estate’s grounds, discover an immense crater covered with a green mantle of earth. This unique work of art by American artist James Turrell, consists of an arch, a passage and stairs leading to its heart, where there is a single block of stone. Here, travelers are invited to lie down to admire the sky and enjoy an almost metaphysical experience.

A private tour of the gardens

Head out with the property's resident horticulturist to explore its 163-acre/66-hectare grounds, learn about its biodiversity and appreciate its uniqueness. The tour includes the chef's garden, which directly supplies the restaurant. The horticulturalist will focus on the seasonality of produce grown here, and give you an exclusive insight into the impressive crater of the Irish Sky Garden, designed by James Turrell.
