At a sunny clearing in the woods, the Manegehuis with private garden, offers two fabulous suites for 4 adults and 4 children. Leisurely outdoor activities
“Our estate is nestled amidst 3500 hectares of undulating, wooded surroundings that offers endless possibilities for outdoor activities on the hotel grounds. We rent out bicycles for GPS mountain bike expeditions, and in partnership with the National Trust, we organise thrilling evening excursions through the woods. Our guests can play tennis on our estate, play boules, dive into the swimming pool in summer, indulge in a picnic in the rose garden, play golf on the (private) golf course close to the estate, or explore the Veluwe in a classic Cabriolet. While jogging through the woods, it is exhilarating to experience a sunrise shrouded in morning mist; at any time of year.”

Kids’ adventure
“Boots on and into the woods! Building huts, an adventurous tracking excursion for young nature lovers, mountain biking, or playing tennis. Children experience an unforgettable adventure at Het Roode Koper: roasting marshmallows over an open fire, making pizzas in the kitchen, playing football or boules on the lawn. The villa is equipped with an air hockey table, drawing and arts and crafts materials, and children can play ping-pong or board games. Fancy a day out? Visit the Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Kröller-Müller Museum, Het Loo Palace, the zoo, an intriguing castle, or hire a sailing boat on the Randmeren: Het Roode Koper is a children’s paradise.”

Celebrations to cherish
The celebration of a wedding, an anniversary or an (international) family gathering is an unforgettable experience on the estate. In the rosary, on the terrace or lawn, in the restaurant or in the lounge with fireplace in the characteristic villa: far from everyday life you will have a gathering with festive grandeur with your guests. For a very intimate celebration you can rent the entire estate for private use.

Spectacular nature
The Hoge Veluwe National Park is a Dutch national park of approximately 5500 hectares in area, consisting of heathlands, sand dunes, and woodlands. It is situated in the Veluwe; the park forms one of the largest continuous nature reserves in the Netherlands. Most of the landscape of the park and the Veluwe was created during the last Ice Age. In the park area there are also the Rijksmuseum Kröller-Müller and the hunting lodge Sint Hubertus.

Cycling
Directly from the estate start cycling routes from different distances. Using a national cycle route node, you make a tour of which you determine the length and direction yourself. Through the forests and over the heath, challenging tours can be made on the MTB. For exploring The Veluwe by racing bike, there is also a tour. Regular bikes are always there at the hotel. If you wish to rent MTBs, racing bikes, tandems or other special bicycles, we advise you to report in advance with your reservation.
