Our commitments
The Relais Bernard Loiseau is actively engaged in sustainable development through a range of green initiatives and social projects.
The hotel has chosen to switch to wood as its source of energy, reducing its environmental impact. To do so, it has invested in new, biomass boilers that replace a previous oil-fired system. This enables the Relais to heat all domestic hot water, swimming pool and spa water, and the property’s restaurant. In addition, a new, ozone-based, water filtration system has reduced the use of chlorine in its swimming pools: a more environmentally friendly and less irritating alternative for guests. The property is also committed to developing its young apprentices, introducing guests to regional specialties, promoting local suppliers, and supporting social initiatives—such as Restaurants du Coeur which offers meals to homeless and low-income people.
