Between the French cuisine with a modern twist, Italian gastronomy, and the wellness rituals lavished by the spa, both mind and body will become soothed and relaxed. Outdoors, golf lovers will enjoy the synthetic greens and the 18 tees of the innovatively eco-friendly 9-hole course. Finally, an artificial lake is dedicated to water sports.

Our commitments

The Jiva Hill Resort has chosen to use artificial turf for all the greens and tees on its golf course. While most courses need to keep their greens in pristine condition, and consume vast amounts of water and “feed and weed” products in doing so, synthetic turf can eliminate these problems at a stroke.
Despite the move being unconventional, the resort has succeeded in making it a differentiator—with the faster pace of the synthetic surfaces offering a challenge, even for more experienced players. What’s more, artificial turf enables golf to be played all year round, avoiding the inconvenience of waterlogging and the risk of damage that players can create during frost.
Jiva Hill’s broader vision is to democratize golf, sometimes seen as an elitist sport. Its course has a thriving permanent membership, operates a golf school for over 100 young people, and regularly hosts taster days to introduce primary children to the sport. It’s a project where leisure and good environmental sense go hand in hand.

An ecological golf course

"Jiva Hill Golf Club offers an ultra sophisticated course that may be used throughout the year. From beginners to experienced players, it gives everyone the chance to live their passion in an intense and absolute way. Covering 140,000 m² on a course which respects the natural lie of the land, its undulations and the flora, while upholding the principles of golf. The Jiva Hill Golf Club is a 9-hole course with 18 tees and greens in synthetic grass. The total length is 4,000 meters for the 18-holes and 2,000 meters for the 9 - holes. A pioneering course, this is the first 9-holer in France and Europe with synthetic tees and greens."

In the designer's studio

"We have built a collection of artworks that reflects the hotel’s many values, developed by its teams of architects, designers and decorators. The art collection includes nearly 200 works on paper, as well as one film and a large sculpture. Since 2012, we have been hosting a permanent exhibition by the New York photographer Roberto Dutesco, whose collection of works entitled “The Wild Horses of Sable Island” features unique shots of wild horses living on Sable Island, a Canadian island located 290 km south-east of the coast of Nova Scotia, in the Atlantic Ocean. For twenty years, Roberto Dutesco has observed and studied these animals, which are thought to have been abandoned after a shipwreck in the eighteenth century, and are now protected by the Canadian government".
