Remarkable Gardens

At Ballyfin, stone walls enclose 614 acres of parkland, a lake, ancient woods, delightful garden buildings, follies and grottoes. It is among the finest examples in Ireland of the natural style of gardening inspired by ‘Capability’ Brown. Our two walled gardens amount to 8 acres, growing our own flowers, and vegetables and herbs for the kitchen; guests can even collect their own breakfast eggs from our hens.
