Falsled Kro’s well-being space invites you to enjoy an energizing break. The gentle heat of the sauna leads on to an outdoor whirlpool bath, heated to 104°F/40°C, where water gently massages the skin while you take in the soothing views over the gardens and the sea. Finally, carefully applied hot stones will relax your deep tissues, providing a feeling of calm and revitalization.

Falsled Kro sources local and organic produce in order to offer excellent Nordic cuisine. 

Chef Simon Juel Petersen offers Nordic cuisine created using seasonal produce of the finest quality. The property has its own smokehouse for salmon and breakfast bacon. The property's kitchen garden also provides 80%  of the vegetables served in the restaurant. The kitchen is supplied by the orchard and by Falsled Kro's organic kitchen garden, as well as through partnerships formed with local producers selected for their sustainable practices, such as Steensgaard Farm. This farm provides high-quality meats by following organic agricultural methods and ensuring the animal's welfare.

As you cross the threshold of this traditional thatched-roofed house on the island of Fyn, the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tales, you will experience the simple pleasures of Scandinavian living. The team at Falsled Kro offers guests the warmest of welcomes–just one encouragement to live in the moment and appreciate its cozy charms.
