Born in 1951, Noboribetsu, Hokkaido Japan. 3 years training in France returning to Japan in 1974. Opened the first restaurant in Sapporo “Restaurant Molière” in 1982, continuously founded 4 restaurants in Hokkaido. Appointed a Culinary Advisor for the 34th G8 Summit in Toya lake in Hokkaido, 2006. Awarded 3 stars on Special Edition of Michellin Guide in Hokkaido 2012. “The Restaurant Molière” became a member of Relais & Châteaux in 2014. Assigned a Culinary Advisor of Four Season’s Tokyo’s fine dining restaurant “MOTIF” in 2015.
