Located in the elegant Devon seaside town of Exmouth, Lympstone Manor is a quintessential Georgian manor turned contemporary country house. Driven by the enthusiasm and talent of renowned chef Michael Caines, this haven of peace and tranquillity, set in an exceptional natural environment, is anchored in the salt-rich terroir of a region whose coast gives way to the English Channel. Overlooking the Exe Estuary in South West England, it features luxurious rooms and suites, as well as fantastic shepherd huts for a unique experience set within the woodland, complete with the utmost refinement and privacy. Lympstone Manor also boasts a vineyard. Stretching to the shoreline, it is where Michael Caines celebrates his passion for wine. In his gourmet restaurant, enjoy a cuisine of great maturity and astonishing precision, which showcases the finest products from the sea, foreshore and salt meadows alongside produce from the verdant surroundings.

Experience the Landscape

Borrow a bicycle from the hotel to explore the Exe trail linking Exeter to Exmouth along the estuary or stroll around the gardens of the Manor around the ‘Lady’s Walk’. To explore a little further afield; walk along the South Devon coastal path; exploring the Jurassic Coast- a World Heritage site or even join one of our experience local guides with their knowledge of both the land, sea and population of birds. Dartmoor lies to the west, with its bare, heath- and gorse-covered hills topped by granite tors to adventure across.  Closer to the manor, just a mere two miles south is the two-mile-long beach golden sandy beach of Exmouth; the gateway to the Jurassic coast, golden sands and south facing it is the perfect sandy beach destination while at the Manor.
