Within the Hôtel de la Plage spa, each dedicated space tells a different story of Brittany, comprising an authentic journey to the heart of this maritime land. The sauna diffuses a dry and comforting heat, while the hammam, with its evocative, aromatic scents, offers an introspective moment. Skincare treatments, developed with botanicals from the island of Bréhat, offer a uniquely pure and sensorial experience.

Refined dishes such as lobster ravioli, croustille of tourteau, suckling veal and lamb from the Ponclet farm, white of turbot… take on a special flavour when they are served on the seafront in a wonderful place like Hôtel de la Plage. The panoramic restaurant overlooks the ocean and the vast beach of fine sand, only separated by a unique dry stone wall. There are similar views from the rooms, where you can hear the gentle lapping of the waves. Guests with families will enjoy the beach entirely dedicated to children, the water-based recreational activities and walks offered by the Bay of Douarnenez and the Finistère.

The salty sea air and the soothing rhythm of the waves provide a moment of relaxation to take a break from it all, right on the water, on a deserted 2.5 km long beach. Setting off from the hotel, you can follow the legendary GR34 Sentier des Douaniers path which leads around the Brittany coast, and the boldest guests can walk all the way to Douarnenez Port. There are several hiking trails in our beautiful region, which you can either do on foot or, if you prefer, on mountain bikes available from reception.

The road leads up to the hotel gates, and the wild, protected beach of Saint Anne la Palud stretches out before you. There are no roads to cross to get to it, only sand stretching out as far as the eye can see, on which to enjoy time as a family.
