Each lodge has its own private heated plunge pool, an idyllic setting for relaxation.The décor skilfully blends indigenous influences and contemporary design, complemented by works of South African artists. Here, guests delight in heartfelt hospitality and taste exceptional cuisine accompanied by wines from the Estate. The spa offers an exclusive range of sophisticated treatments. In the evening you can watch the sun set over Table Mountain or languish in the private cinema. Time spent here is all about relaxing and indulging.

For us, menus with an emphasis on local produce mean exceptional South African cuisine with a reduced carbon footprint in our continued support of sustainable farming.
This property, which has a long history of favouring home-grown suppliers, welcomes local, ethical farmers practicing sustainable, ecological policies. The property equally follows NGO guidelines on the protection of endangered species to the letter. As an example, the chefs only accept fish if non-endangered and of adult size.

“Experience a contemporary landscape conceived out of a need to move away from the traditional “vines and roses”. We wanted to be daring and different, to create a haven for the senses and an escape for the soul. The result is an eclectic mix of indigenous and naturalised exotic plants within an innovative design, inspired by the term "Genius Loci" which means ‘the Spirit of the place’. Water features, Cape Dutch-inspired rills and reflective pools add a sense of peace and tranquillity to the dramatic setting. Each piece of art that adorns the walls and gardens has been personally handpicked by owner Laurence Graff from a much-treasured personal collection. Gaze upon works by renowned local artists such as Anton and Lionel Smit, Deborah Bell, Dylan Lewis, Cecil Skotnes, Kendell Geers, Ndikhumbule Ngqinambi and William Kentridge. The collection includes a number of pieces which speak to the nature of ‘the self’ exploring memory and heritage, South Africa’s political history as well as the deeply personal connection between artist and experience.
