This imposing 17th-century building, which stands on the left bank of the river in Blois, is home to the Fleur de Loire hotel. This welcoming property, designed in an eco-responsible way, is a true haven of tranquility. Just two hours from Paris, it is the ideal starting point to explore the region and the châteaux of the Loire in particular. At his gourmet restaurant and at the Amour Blanc restaurant, Chef Christophe Hay shares his passion for regional local products, which he serves with fruit and vegetables grown in his large vegetable garden. Guest rooms in the two wings of the building evoke the gentle way of life and verdant environment of the Loire Valley. Its contemporary decor has been inspired by the tones of the slow-moving river and its sandbanks. As well as the pleasures of the table, Fleur de Loire also offers profound relaxation in the serenity of its well-being area, with its indoor pool and signature plant-based aromatic treatments.

Traditional boat ride on the Loire

At midday or sunset, you'll be captivated when exploring the river by boat, in the very heart of Blois. Emblematic of the Blois scenery, the Loire gives the town much of its charm. Fall in love with the bucolic atmosphere of this river ride. You will be welcomed aboard a barge or fustereau, a traditional flat-bottomed boat used by merchants on the Loire in days gone by. For an even more incredible experience, go to reception and order your gourmet picnic, prepared by the chef.

Cycling

Bike rides are the best way to take full advantage of the charm and peaceful atmosphere of the Loire's banks, and the gentle terrain of Sologne. Here, cycling reigns supreme and is one of the most popular means of exploring the region. The hotel can provide you with traditional or electric bikes. From Fleur de Loire and Blois, with its winding streets and timber-framed houses, you can easily reach the major sites of the Loire Valley, including the castles of Chambord, Beauregard, Chenonceau, Chaumont, and more. You can also order a gourmet picnic for the day from the hotel, to make it truly unforgettable.
