Coffee was introduced in Ecuador in the middle of the 19th century. Nowadays Ecuador is well known for growing specialty beans that make flavorful coffee. Our chef will introduce you to the plant, the process and the art of roasting coffee. You can try your hand at roasting, and take home a pound of your exclusive wares.
For you and your family to discover the historic park with a private guide. An educating and entertaining way to explore ecosystems, wildlife, plants and much more. The park comprises approximately four hectares and recreates the natural habitat of more than 50 species between birds, mammals and other animals that turned the woods into their natural habitat, among the animals there are birds such as parrots, a harpy eagle (endangered species), toucan of the coast, and the maria and masked ducks; mammals like sloths, ocelots, deer, spider monkeys, tapirs and collared sainos; reptiles such as the crocodile from the coast and spectacled caimans.

Ecuador is home to the world’s finest cacao bean, so it behooves us to offer a chocolate-tasting experience with our culinary team in the grounds of the park! With a 120-year-old landowner’s house as the setting, guests can seek out and pick their own cacao pods, and watch as their beans are transformed into artisanal chocolate using traditional methods. Of course, taking the end product home is fundamental to the experience. We present different types of national chocolates and we explain their flavors and textures, tasting it accompanied with a sparkling wine or an Ecuadorian fruit infusion.
Discover the healing properties of various plants found within the park. The team will show you around the herbs and the botanical gardens. The practice of using plants as remedies is traditional in Ecuadorian culture. After the visit, guests will learn to create infusions to cure their ailments.
