Hace más de cuatro siglos que este edificio, antigua sede de un orfanato, se levanta en el corazón de Roma , en una calle muy cercana a la plaza de España y el Ara Pacis. En la actualidad, el Palazzo Ripetta es un elegante hotel dirigido por la misma familia desde la década de 1960. Una vez traspasado el umbral, podrá recorrer la historia de la Ciudad Eterna entre las obras maestras del arte antiguo y contemporáneo que adornan las extensas zonas comunes. Una espléndida esfera del artista Arnaldo Pomodoro le da la bienvenida en el vestíbulo, mientras que un sarcófago romano del siglo III transformado en fuente murmura en el patio interior. Por la noche, en el Palazzo Ripetta podrá disfrutar de la tranquilidad de esta preciosa “piazzetta” mientras se toma un coctel, después de disfrutar de los principales atractivos de la ciudad, todas ellos a poca distancia a pie. En el restaurante San Baylon el chef principal Marco realza de forma sutil los grandes clásicos de la gastronomía romana en la atmósfera acogedora de una sala con revestimientos de madera. Relájese en su habitación. Su decoración moderna, suntuosa y refinada, realzada con materiales nobles, le invita a prolongar la “dolce vita” hasta en sueños.
