Our commitments
Set in the very heart of Milan, the Hotel Château Monfort is a magnificently finished urban château that exudes Art Nouveau opulence. Attention to detail is truly exceptional, with many rooms given a unique personality.
Yet it wasn’t always this way. The property was designed by celebrated Milanese architect, Paolo Mezzanotte, in 1903. Originally a private home on three floors, its fortunes waned as the 20th-Century progressed, resulting in a 45-year closure. Matters changed dramatically, however, when a new owner finally took possession in 2009.
The property then underwent a comprehensive, three-year refurbishment that has completely transformed the building. A fourth floor has been added, using the former attic. And there is a total of 77 guest rooms, forming a delightful eclectic mix, centered on family accommodation. The renovations have also seen the creation of a crystal domed courtyard. When lit at night, the hotel takes on a distinctly French persona, fitting perfectly with its “château” moniker.
